Security Forces Eliminate 23 Indian-Backed Khawarij in Kurram Operations
Security Forces Kill 4 Indian-Backed Terrorists in Balochistan Operation
On 19 November 2025, Pakistan’s security forces carried out two successful intelligence-based operations in Kurram District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 23 terrorists linked to the Indian-sponsored Fitna Al-Khawarij network.
According to officials, the first operation was launched after reports emerged about the presence of heavily armed militants in the area. Pakistan’s troops moved swiftly and engaged the hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, 12 terrorists were killed on the spot, preventing a major terror plot.
A few hours later, intelligence agencies picked up movement of another terrorist group operating nearby. Acting on this fresh information, security forces launched a second targeted operation and eliminated 11 more militants, all belonging to the same Indian-backed outfit.
Authorities say that sanitization efforts are still under way to ensure no remaining militants are hiding in the region. The operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism drive under “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.
Security officials reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue its campaign with full determination to wipe out foreign-funded terrorism and restore lasting peace across the country.
