Public Holiday Announced on 05 November
MANSEHRA: The district administration in Mansehra has announced three local holidays on November 22, 23, and 24 due to the upcoming by-election in the NA-18 constituency.
According to the official notification, all government and private schools in the district will remain closed for three days. The decision was taken to ensure smooth election activities and to prevent any untoward situation during polling. The by-election in NA-18 will be held on November 23, 2025.
Meanwhile, in Punjab, the provincial government has confirmed the schedule for winter vacations. The education department has notified that all schools across the province will go on winter break from December 23, 2025, until January 11, 2026.
Classes will resume on January 13, 2026, marking the start of the new academic session.
