How Pakistanis can apply for Oman’s new visa
Oman has launched a new cultural visa that allows skilled people from other countries to take part in the nation’s arts, culture, and research activities.
This visa is meant for those who want to join cultural programs in Oman, whether through short-term cultural exchange, technical training, research work, or educational collaboration in arts, culture, and heritage. It also covers participation in cultural conferences, fairs, exhibitions, and even the organization of cultural events.
The cultural visa comes in three options: a one-year visa, a five-year visa with yearly fees, and a ten-year visa with yearly fees. Because of these choices, applicants must decide which visa fits their purpose and how long they plan to stay in Oman.
To apply, individuals must have a sponsor from an Omani institution. This could be the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth or any registered cultural center. The sponsor will handle the visa process, paperwork, and even accommodation arrangements.
How to Apply
People who want this visa must submit the application form along with all required documents to the concerned institution. Once the application is approved, they will receive a visa allowing temporary residence in Oman for cultural activities.
Applicants can also bring their families. Spouses and children can get accompanying visas, as long as their names are included in the main application.
After receiving the visa, individuals can take part in Oman’s growing cultural scene through research projects, exhibitions, fairs, and creative collaborations.
With this program, Oman hopes to welcome talented people from around the world and further promote art, culture, and research within the country.
