Govt considers transferring PTI Founder from Adiala Jail

The government has reportedly started considering the transfer of PTI founder Imran Khan from Adiala Jail.

According to sources, the federal government believes the situation has reached a point of no return. They claim that PTI is following an agenda to destabilize the country, and under the pretext of protests, efforts are being made to create unrest.

Prime Minister’s Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali said that authorities want the prisoner to be moved from Adiala Jail, and the government is seriously considering this step.

Ikhtiar Wali also alleged that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan’s aide, Suhail Afridi, has links with drug smugglers, and described the Chief Minister’s performance as “minus” rather than zero. He further claimed that relatives of the KP Chief Minister are involved in the drug trade and provide protection to such activities.

Meanwhile, following the government’s refusal to allow a meeting with Imran Khan, his sisters staged a sit-in outside Adiala Jail yesterday. Police used water cannons to disperse the protesters, while PTI workers reportedly threw stones at police.
