Pakistan Extends Airspace Closure on Indian Aircraft for Another Month

Pakistan has decided to extend the closure of its airspace for Indian-registered aircraft until January 23, 2026.

According to officials, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a new Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) with the approval of the federal government.

Under this decision, all Indian-registered aircraft, including military and private jets, will not be permitted to fly through Pakistani airspace.

Pakistan initially closed its airspace to Indian aircraft on April 23, 2025, and the restriction has now been extended for another month.
