Maulana Fazlur Rehman Visits Iranian Embassy, Expresses Condolences Over Supreme Leader’s Martyrdom

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F), paid a visit to the Iranian Embassy today, where he met with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam. The meeting came as a gesture of solidarity following the tragic martyrdom of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

During the visit, Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his profound sadness and condolences over the passing of Ayatollah Khamenei. “We are deeply saddened by the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he remarked, as he signed the condolence book.

In his statement, Maulana Fazlur Rehman highlighted the need for unity among the Muslim Ummah, particularly in these difficult times. “The Muslim world must stand together in the face of adversity,” he emphasized.

The Iranian Ambassador, in turn, expressed his gratitude for the visit, stating, “Your presence here today gives us much comfort and reassurance in this difficult moment.”
