Fire at Tariq Road Warehouse Brought Under Control

A fire that broke out in a warehouse near the Dubai Shopping Mall on Tariq Road has been brought under control, according to rescue officials.

Upon receiving the initial report, a Rescue 1122 fire and rescue team was immediately dispatched to the scene. The team was joined by additional fire brigade vehicles and ambulances to manage the emergency.

Tragically, police officials confirmed that two firefighters, identified as Bilal and Sikandar, passed away due to suffocation while battling the blaze. While the fire had been contained, rescue teams remained on-site to ensure the area was fully cooled and secured.
