Sindh Announces Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays

Karachi: The Sindh government has issued a notification for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 holidays across the province.

According to a notification issued by the chief secretary of Sindh, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays have been approved. Eid holidays will be observed across the province on March 20 and 21.

It should be noted that the federal government also issued a notification regarding Eid holidays, according to which there will be holidays on March 20 and 21.

After the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Cabinet Division issued a notification stating that all offices operating 5 or 6 days a week will have Eid holidays on Friday and Saturday.

While March 22 is a Sunday and March 23 will also be a public holiday, government employees will thus get 4 holidays on Eid: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
