NADRA announces suspension of services in Madinah
National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has temporarily stopped its services at its office in Madinah. The announcement was shared on social media.
According to instructions from the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, the services have been suspended from April 12, 2026, for the duration of the Hajj season. NADRA said that services will start again once the Hajj season ends.
To help Pakistani citizens, staff has been increased at the NADRA Registration Center in Jeddah so more people can be served there. Citizens can also contact the consulate in Jeddah for any information.
During this time, NADRA services will still be available online through the Pak ID app.
Hajj Flights from Pakistan
Pakistan has also announced its Hajj flight schedule. The first flight will leave on April 18, 2026. Flights will start from cities like Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan on the first day.
Under the government Hajj scheme, 468 flights will carry about 119,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia. On the first day, four flights will go to Madinah, while flights to Jeddah will begin from May 4, 2026. The last Hajj flight will depart on May 21, 2026.
Hajj flights will operate from eight cities across Pakistan:
- Islamabad: 129 flights
- Karachi: 124 flights
- Lahore: 104 flights
- Quetta: 18 flights
- Multan: 34 flights
- Sialkot: 26 flights
- Faisalabad: 23 flights
- Sukkur: 5 flights
Pilgrims will receive their flight details soon as the Hajj operation begins.
