Aurangzeb, Lutnick Hold Talks to Strengthen Economic Partnership

Federal Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick in Washington, DC, to discuss further strengthening the bilateral economic partnership.

According to the Ministry of Finance, US Secretary of Commerce and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met on the sidelines of the 2026 World Bank and IMF spring meetings in Washington, DC.

The meeting focused on promoting trade, increasing investment flows, and facilitating private sector involvement.

The talks also discussed cooperation in key sectors, including mining, energy, and information technology, while emphasis was placed on exploiting new opportunities for mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
