PIA announces Hajj 2026 flight schedule - check here
The national airline (PIA) has released the regular schedule of its pre-Hajj operation for Hajj 2026, under which the departure of Hajj pilgrims will begin from April 19.
According to a PIA spokesperson, a total of more than 55,000 pilgrims will be transported to the Holy Hijaz through 191 flights this year. These include 49,000 pilgrims under the government scheme and more than 6,000 pilgrims from private Hajj groups.
This operation will be carried out through direct flights from Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Quetta.
As per the schedule, the first flight of the pre-Hajj operation, PK 747, will depart from Sialkot for Madinah at 01:55 on the night of April 19 carrying more than 390 pilgrims.
A flight will also depart from Faisalabad on the same day with 150 pilgrims. The first Hajj flight from Multan will depart on April 20, Islamabad and Quetta on April 21, Karachi on April 23, while the first flight from Lahore will depart on April 24.
The spokesperson further said that more than 15,400 pilgrims from Islamabad, 15,000 from Karachi, 12,377 from Lahore, 5,383 from Multan, 4,487 from Quetta, 3,680 from Faisalabad and 2,075 from Sialkot will be taken to Saudi Arabia.
This pre-Hajj operation of PIA will end on May 21. CEO PIA has directed all teams to leave no stone unturned in serving the pilgrims, while PIA staff will be present at all airports in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to guide the pilgrims.
