Dar, Russian FM Discuss Rescheduling PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Visit to Russia During Telephonic Conversation

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a telephonic conversation during which they discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in multilateral forums to promote international peace and security.

The Russian Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in the negotiations between Iran and the United States. Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will continue its role in promoting dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all issues.

The two leaders also discussed rescheduling Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Russia. Both sides agreed to remain in touch, while Ishaq Dar invited the Russian foreign minister to visit Pakistan.
