KP Government decides to include public opinion in the budget

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has officially decided to incorporate public opinion into its upcoming budget and development planning process. The initiative aims to make the annual financial and development programs more citizen-focused.

Under the new plan, citizens will be able to submit their suggestions for the next fiscal year’s development program, including key areas such as roads, tube wells, and hospitals in Peshawar and other regions.

The administration has also decided to introduce a dedicated online link through the social media platforms of Deputy Commissioners to collect public feedback efficiently.

Chief Minister of KP, Sohail Afridi, has announced that public suggestions will not only be collected but also implemented where feasible, marking a shift toward participatory governance.
