In the border area of Angoor Adda in South Waziristan, Afghan Taliban shelling reportedly targeted civilian areas on April 26 and April 29.

According to local sources, several innocent men, women, and children were seriously injured, while homes and other civilian property were also damaged.

During the incidents, two men, three women, and four children were injured. The wounded are receiving treatment at DHQ Wana and CMH Peshawar.

Residents strongly condemned the shelling and said that unarmed civilians, especially children, are being targeted from across the border. They said damage to civilian property is also unacceptable.

Local people said the repeated attacks have created fear and concern in the area.

However, tribal elders said they will not be intimidated. They stated that they will stand firm and support the Pakistan Army against any aggression.

Families of the injured and local elders also thanked the Pakistan Army for providing timely medical treatment and support.
