Maryam Nawaz Honors Mothers’ Endless Sacrifices on Mother’s Day

LAHORE– Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Mother’s Day is a day to acknowledge the extraordinary love, devotion, and sacrifices of mothers across society.

On the Mother’s Day, she paid tribute to mothers who send their children to serve the country, mothers of martyrs and veterans, working mothers, and those who go through personal struggles to ensure their children are well taken care of.

A mother as a comforting presence, like a cool shade on a hot day, bringing peace and love, Maryam Nawaz described and more added that God has given mothers a special status, comparing His love to a mother’s affection. “A mother is the symbol of pure emotion and an unbreakable bond,” she said, calling mothers the foundation of families and a strong pillar of society.

Punjab Chief Minister Highlights the importance of acknowledging mothers’ sacrifices on Mother’s Day. She opened up about the sorrow of missing her late mother on this day each year and think of former First Lady Kulsoom Nawaz, whose love and prayers she deeply values and credits for her own public position.

She concluded by praying all mother’s health, happiness, and well-being saying that those who honor and care for their mothers are rewarded both in this life and the hereafter.
