Kuwait Building Petroleum Strategic Storage in Pakistan

Pakistan and Kuwait officials on Tuesday evening at an official meeting agreed to build strategic petroleum storage in Pakistan. Both countries agreed to develop and enhance refinery and energy sectors in Pakistan.
Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi stated that Pakistan has played a key strategic role for Worlds peace and specially in peace dialogues during Iran-US War.
The Ambassador agreed upon increasing trade and economic relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.
Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik also stated that, with the determined efforts of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Khairpur vessel safely completed its journey and reached Pakistan, ensuring continuity in fuel supply and supporting national energy needs.
He added that after recent shortage and hike in petroleum prices we are determined to increase fuel storage capacity in Pakistan.
