Use helpline 1128 for cleanliness support: Nadia Khan appeals to citizens

KARACHI: Renowned television actress and host Nadia Khan has urged citizens to actively support cleanliness efforts during Eidul Azha by adopting responsible waste disposal practices.

In her exclusive video message, Nadia Khan appealed to the public to cooperate with sanitation authorities and ensure that animal waste and offal generated after sacrificial activities are not discarded on streets, roads, empty plots, or into drains and nullahs.

She emphasized that maintaining cleanliness during Eidul Azha is a shared civic responsibility and requires collective participation from citizens alongside government institutions. Proper management of sacrificial waste, she said, helps prevent environmental pollution, foul odors, and potential health risks in residential areas.

By contacting the helpline, citizens can request assistance from the cleanliness staff of the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, ensuring safe and organized disposal of sacrificial remains.
