Quetta Blast Near Railway Track Injures Several | Police Report
On Sunday, an explosion was reported near Chaman Phatak in Quetta, at least four people were hurt when an explosion took place as per police reports.
The explosion damaged a train in the area and impacted nearly 10 parked vehicles nearby. The blast’s damaged nearby buildings force broke windows with windows and glass panes shattered by the impact, confirmed by officials.
After the blast, Quetta’s government hospitals were placed under emergency, and more doctors and staff were brought in for treatment.
The authorities of railways states that Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express was stopped at Quetta Railway Station as a safety precaution following the blast.
All relevant agencies had been put on high alert. said spokesperson for the provincial home minister Babar Yousafzai.
He also requested citizens not to gather near the site to ensure rescue teams could operate safely and without interruption.
