AJK police launch crackdown on miscreants, 72 arrested

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Police has issued a strong message to miscreants, saying that lawbreaking will not be tolerated and strict action will continue to maintain peace and order across the region.

According to police officials, a province-wide crackdown has been launched against those involved in disturbing public peace. During the operation, 72 individuals have been arrested.

Police said weapons and other materials were recovered from suspected miscreants. Action is also being taken against those who damaged public property.

Authorities added that strict monitoring is being carried out on social media to stop the spread of provocative and inflammatory content.

The police emphasized that no attempt to disturb peace will be allowed and anyone taking the law into their own hands will face strict legal action. Cases have already been registered against the arrested suspects, and legal proceedings are underway.

AJK Police also urged citizens to avoid spreading rumours and provocative messages, and to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in maintaining peace.

People have been advised to immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station so that timely action can be taken.
