The Moon of Muharram 1448 AH was not Sighted

Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, has announced that the moon of Muharram 1448 AH has not been sighted.

He said that no evidence of moon sighting has been received from anywhere in Pakistan, due to which the 1st of Muharram will be on Wednesday and the Day of Ashura will be on June 26.

According to Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the central meeting to sight the moon of Muharram was held at Iqbal Hall, Badshahi Mosque. No evidence of moon sighting has been received from anywhere in Pakistan. The weather was clear in most places across Pakistan, while it was cloudy in some places.
