Major Diplomatic Move: Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir to Attend Iran-US Peace Agreement

ISLAMABAD: A historic peace agreement between Iran and the United States is set to be signed in Geneva, with Pakistan expected to play a hosting and facilitating role in the ceremony, according to sources.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to travel to Geneva on Thursday to attend the event. He will be accompanied by federal ministers and the deputy prime minister.

Sources also say that Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir will also be part of the Prime Minister’s delegation.

The agreement is being described as an important diplomatic development aimed at reducing tensions and promoting peace between the two countries.
