Pakistan Rejects Taliban Claims of Border Attacks

The Afghan Taliban, through various statements and propaganda channels, have claimed that they targeted alleged ISKP camps in the border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan using rudimentary drones.

These claims are false. There is no evidence to support the assertion that such attacks took place on Pakistani territory.

According to official information, terrorist networks, including ISKP and other groups, are primarily based and operating from areas inside Afghanistan under Taliban control. Pakistan has repeatedly raised concerns about the presence of such groups across the border.

In contrast, Pakistani authorities confirm that a single rudimentary drone originating from the Taliban side entered Pakistani airspace near Shinko in Khyber. It was quickly detected and neutralized by the Pakistan Air Force’s air defence system.

Pakistan maintains that its security forces remain vigilant and capable of responding to any airspace violation.

The Ministry emphasized that misinformation and false propaganda attempts cannot change ground realities, and facts will always prevail over falsehood.
