Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian Receives Warm Welcome at PM House

A grand reception ceremony was held at the PM House in honour of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, where he was presented a guard of honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the armed forces.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived at the PM House, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally welcomed the distinguished guest. On this occasion, the two leaders exchanged warm and cordial words.

During the ceremony, PM Shehbaz Sharif introduced the Iranian president to members of the federal cabinet, while the honoured guest introduced PM Shehbaz Sharif to members of the accompanying Iranian delegation.

In addition, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian planted a sapling within the premises of the PM House, an act widely seen as a symbol of strengthening bilateral and friendly ties between the two nations. The visit is considered a significant step toward further consolidating diplomatic and mutual relations between Pakistan and Iran.
