Balochistan Earthquake: Kohlu Hit by Three Tremors in One Day, Magnitude 5.1 Quake Recorded

Kohlu and several adjoining areas of Balochistan experienced three earthquake tremors in a single day, causing concern among residents.

According to reports, the first earthquake struck at 10:25 a.m., followed by a second tremor at 10:58 a.m. A third earthquake was recorded later in the day at 4:49 p.m.

The tremors were also felt in several other parts of Balochistan, including Zhob, Barkhan, and Rakhni.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the earthquake’s epicenter was located 60 kilometers northeast of Kohlu. The strongest tremor measured 5.1 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 17 kilometers.

No immediate reports of casualties or significant property damage were received following the series of earthquakes. Authorities continue to monitor the situation while residents remain alert due to repeated seismic activity in the region.
