Interior Minister Seeks Report on Killing of PAF Group Captain Asim Tariq

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim Tariq, who was killed while attempting to rescue a woman during an alleged attack in Islamabad. The minister also conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family of the fallen officer.

Naqvi directed the Inspector General of Islamabad Police to submit a detailed report on the incident and instructed law enforcement authorities to ensure the swift arrest of the suspect involved in the fatal shooting. He stressed that those responsible must be brought to justice without delay.

The interior minister also emphasized that no effort should be spared in providing justice to the family of the martyred officer. His remarks came as tributes continue to pour in from across the country, recognizing Group Captain Asim Tariq’s bravery and sacrifice in protecting a citizen in distress.
