Court Sends Accused in Asim Tariq Murder Case to Jail for Identification Parade

An Islamabad court has ordered the transfer of the suspect in the Group Captain Asim Tariq murder case to jail for an identification parade. The police produced the accused before the court and sought further custody proceedings in connection with the investigation.
During the hearing, the court granted a 14-day judicial remand and directed that the suspect be sent to jail for the identification parade process. Authorities said the procedure is part of the ongoing investigation to establish the suspect’s involvement in the case.
Police officials said further inquiries are underway, and additional evidence is being collected as part of the investigation into the killing.
