Prime Minister and President Pay Tribute to Martyred Group Captain Asim Tariq

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of Group Captain Asim Tariq, paying tribute to his courage and sacrifice. Both leaders extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for their strength and patience during this difficult time.

In a statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Group Captain Asim Tariq displayed exceptional bravery, dedication, and selflessness by sacrificing his life while protecting the life and property of a woman. He said the entire nation deeply values the sacrifices made by its brave sons and stands in solidarity with the martyr’s family.

President Asif Ali Zardari described the officer’s sacrifice as a shining example of the highest human values. Expressing concern over the incident on a major road in Islamabad, he stressed the need for effective measures to prevent such incidents in the future and reaffirmed his condolences to the martyr’s family.
