President Zardari to Begin Four-Day Official Visit to Kyrgyzstan

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari is scheduled to depart today on a four-day official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic from July 6 to 9, leading a high-level delegation at the invitation of President Sadyr Zhaparov, according to the Foreign Office.
The visit marks the first by a Pakistani head of state to Kyrgyzstan in 21 years, described as a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral relations. Officials said it reflects continued high-level engagement between Islamabad and Bishkek following President Zhaparov’s visit to Pakistan in December 2025.
During the trip, President Zardari is expected to hold one-on-one and delegation-level talks with President Zhaparov. The discussions will cover the full scope of Pakistan–Kyrgyzstan relations, along with exchanges on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
