Operation Shaban Continues in Balochistan as Security Forces Target Militants

Pakistan’s security forces, including the Army, the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police, are continuing Operation Shaban against militants in Balochistan, according to security sources. The sources said air and ground operations are being carried out against what Pakistani authorities refer to as Fitna al-Khawarij, with forces conducting sustained operations across the area.

Security sources said the ongoing operation has inflicted heavy losses on the militants, adding that more militants are believed to have been killed during the latest phase of the offensive. They also claimed that security forces successfully targeted a vehicle used by the militants during the operation.

According to the sources, the number of militants killed in Operation Shaban has reached 85, while a total of 123 militants have been killed in operations since July 5. Officials said the operation will continue across Baluchistan until all militants in the targeted areas have been eliminated.
