Sindh Safe Cities Authority to Install Smart Cameras at No-Parking Zones

The Sindh Safe Cities Authority has decided to install smart cameras at no-parking zones to improve traffic law enforcement in Karachi.

The new cameras will automatically detect vehicles parked in restricted areas. Drivers who violate no-parking rules will receive e-challans through the TRAX system.

The smart cameras will send vehicle information directly to the traffic police, making enforcement faster and more efficient.

Under the Safe City project, more than 1,300 AI-powered cameras are already operational across Karachi. These cameras can automatically identify people, vehicles, and important activities.

The faceless e-challan system is already active through the TRAX platform, and the new no-parking cameras are expected to further strengthen traffic management.

Authorities have advised citizens to follow traffic rules and park their vehicles only in designated parking areas.
