Nawaz Sharif Promises Development in AJK During Muzaffarabad Rally

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif addressed a public gathering in Muzaffarabad during the Azad Jammu and Kashmir election campaign, saying he was meeting the people of the city after a long time. He expressed his affection for the residents of Muzaffarabad and said he had never discriminated against Azad Kashmir or any province of Pakistan.

Nawaz Sharif said the road from Kohala to Muzaffarabad was constructed during his tenure and emphasized the need for a modern motorway connecting Muzaffarabad to Jhelum. He said Muzaffarabad should be developed into one of Pakistan’s most beautiful cities and claimed that the reasons behind delays in major projects were known to everyone.

The PML-N leader said he had asked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to introduce similar development initiatives in Azad Kashmir. He expressed his desire to become the prime minister of Azad Kashmir if given the opportunity, promising to address the region’s challenges and announcing that 10 green buses would begin operating in Muzaffarabad within the coming days.
