Clash Erupts at MQM-P Bahadurabad Headquarters, Police Restore Order

A clash broke out between two groups of workers at the Bahadurabad headquarters of Muttahida Qaumi Movement–Pakistan (MQM-P) in Karachi, with chairs reportedly thrown and workers assaulting each other, according to police.
Police said personnel reached the scene and brought the situation under control, but a large number of agitated party workers remained gathered outside the Bahadurabad office. Authorities also reported aerial firing outside the party headquarters and called in additional police personnel to maintain law and order.
Speaking to the media, Farooq Sattar said the dispute erupted after a party meeting. He alleged that a group of workers scuffled with MPA Aijaz-ul-Haq and party leader Zakir sources told Women MNA and key position holders were also attacked during the incident by the other group, Police are monitoring the situation and investigating the circumstances surrounding the clash.
