Pakistan Successfully Treats Sick Newborn Afghan Baby from Torkham Border

A 10-day-old Afghan baby has recovered after receiving emergency medical treatment in Pakistan in a humanitarian effort.

The newborn, along with his parents, was allowed to enter Pakistan through the Torkham border for urgent medical care, helping save the child’s life.

After arriving in Pakistan, the baby was immediately shifted to the Frontier Corps Hospital in Hayatabad, where doctors provided specialized treatment and intensive care.

Medical experts closely monitored the baby’s condition, and officials said the child is now out of danger and recovering well.

The humanitarian step was taken to ensure the newborn received timely medical treatment and lifesaving care.

On August 2, the Afghan family from Jalalabad was granted permission to enter Pakistan through the Torkham border for the baby’s treatment.

Officials said Pakistan has always upheld its tradition of protecting human lives and providing humanitarian assistance in difficult situations.
