10 Terrorists Killed in Intelligence-Based Operation in Khuzdar

On Saturday, officials reported that Security forces killed 10 terrorists and injured several others during an intelligence-based operation in the Shor Pard area of Khuzdar district.

As per Security sources reports, the operation was carried out after intelligence agencies identified several suspected terrorist hideouts in the area. Security forces bounded three hideouts where terrorists were operating in separate groups. A penetrating exchange of fire followed, resulting in the deaths of 10 terrorists and injuries to several others.

After the operation, security forces launched a search and clearance operation in the surrounding mountainous areas to locate terrorists who managed to escape. Officials said the search would continue until the remaining suspects were found and brought to justice.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif applauded the security forces for the efficacious action and paid tribute to their hard work in the fight against terrorism. He said the entire nation stood with the forces and stayed dedicated to eliminating terrorism from the country.

The operation came a day after Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove survived an attack on his convoy in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung. Nine people, including seven police personnel, were injured in the attack.

Earlier, security forces had also killed terrorists in Surab district, bringing the reported number of militants eliminated there to 18.
