Security Forces Kill Five terrorists, Recover 23 Hostages on N-25 Highway

QUETTA: An attempt by terrorists to disrupt public transport on National Highway N-25 near Kalat was foiled and 5 terrorists were killed in a timely action by security forces.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists had set up a check post on N-25 to kidnap, extort and snatch vehicles.

According to the ISPR, the security forces took timely action and cleared the terrorists’ hideout and safely rescued 23 kidnapped people from there.

During the operation, 6 trucks, 3 buses and 2 cars were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists, while a large number of weapons, ammunition and explosives were seized.

According to the ISPR, an operation and clearance operation against the terrorists is underway in the area.
