KP Govt Faces Criticism Over Poor Performance, Lakki Marwat Residents Slam CM Sohail Afridi
Residents of Lakki Marwat and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have strongly criticized Chief Minister Sohail Afridi over the provincial government’s performance.
People expressed frustration over ongoing protests and sit-ins, saying the political activities were affecting daily life across the province.
According to residents, a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest at Gandi Chowk failed to attract public support due to dissatisfaction with the provincial government’s performance.
They said continuous protests and sit-ins were badly affecting businesses, jobs, transport and access to hospitals.
Residents also claimed that PTI’s long march had disrupted mobile phone services, businesses and the education system in the area.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa called on Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to end the sit-in and immediately pursue negotiations.
