PESHAWAR – To prevent profiteering during the holy month of Ramadan 2025, the prices of milk and yogurt have been fixed in Peshawar.
The city administration has instructed shopkeepers to prominently display the price list in their stores.
According to the district administration, the price of buffalo milk with 6% fat has been set at Rs220 per liter, while buffalo milk with 5% fat will cost Rs190 per liter. Additionally, cow milk with 4% fat is priced at Rs190 per liter.
The administration has also set the price of A+ category yogurt at Rs240 per kilogram and A category yogurt at Rs210 per kilogram.
These fixed prices for milk and yogurt will come into effect starting from the 1st of Ramadan.
Meanwhile, shopkeepers have raised the prices of various other items such as fruits, pulses, and more in anticipation of the holy month.
