8070 Ramazan Relief Package 2025: Latest Update for Third Ashra

The Punjab government has introduced the Ramazan Free Rashan Program 2025 to support low-income families by providing essential food supplies during the holy month of Ramadan.

Amid rising inflation and financial hardships, the initiative aims to ensure that underprivileged households can observe Ramadan without worrying about food shortages.

Under this program, eligible families will receive free Rashan packages containing essential food items such as flour, rice, lentils, dates, and other daily necessities. These packages will help families meet their nutritional needs during the fasting month.

How to Register for Ramazan Rashan Program 2025?

Individuals can register by sending their CNIC number to 8070 via SMS or applying through the Punjab Social & Economic Registry (PSER) portal. However, certain groups are ineligible, including:

• Government employees earning above the low-income threshold
• Beneficiaries of BISP or Ehsaas Kafalat programs
• Families with a high poverty score
• Business owners and landowners

Distribution Process for Rashan Package 2025

The distribution of Rashan packages began in March 2025. Eligible individuals will receive SMS notifications about their nearest collection centers. The packages will be available at Utility Stores, Punjab Administration warehouses, and designated local delivery centers.

This initiative aims to provide crucial relief to struggling families, ensuring they can observe Ramadan peacefully without the burden of food insecurity.
