Ruling PTI Core Committee meets to discuss verdict against Musharraf

Ruling PTI Core Committee meets to discuss verdict against Musharraf as per party chairman Imran Khan’s instructions.  

A private news channel has reported the core committee’s emergency meeting today.

Apart from judgment against former president General Pervez Musharraf (retd), the meeting will also discuss other important matters. 

Furthermore, the PTI bigwigs will discuss legislation regarding the extension of services of the army chief. 

The appointment of a chief election commissioner and other members of the commission will also come under discussion.

Moreover, the PTI’s legal team ill brief the members about the extension issue. 

Reports had it that Imran Khan has summoned the meeting.

He also wants to take senior leaders of his party into confidence over the cancellation of his visit to Malaysia where he was scheduled to attend the Kuala Lumpur visit.

However, the party sources remain silent on it.
