Indian spinner wants to play Champions Trophy in Pakistan

Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav has expressed desire to play the upcoming ICC Champions trophy in Pakistan.
The 50-over tournament is slated to be played in February and March next year at three venues, Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
With there are still doubts regarding India’s participation in the tournament, the experienced leg-spinner has expressed his eagerness to be part of the event.
“As cricketers, we will play wherever we are sent. I have never been to Pakistan before, so I am excited. The Pakistani people are great, and whenever we get the chance, we will definitely go and play there,” Yadav said at an event in Australia.
The tournament will feature eight teams including the hosts Pakistan.
The tournament will see Group A comprising India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B will include Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
India has not played a game in Pakistan since the 2008 Asia Cup. However, Pakistan have made a bunch of visits to its neighboring country.
Their most recent visit to India came back in 2023 for the ICC Cricket World Cup.
