Motorola Razr 70 specs leaked ahead of launch
Motorola’s next foldable phone, the Razr 70, has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database, giving an early look at its specifications before the official launch. The listing suggests that Motorola is preparing a premium clamshell device with upgraded hardware.
The Razr 70 is listed under the model number XT2657-2. It will feature a 6.9-inch OLED main display with a resolution of 1080 × 2640 pixels. The foldable phone will also include a 3.63-inch OLED cover display with a resolution of 1056 × 1066 pixels, allowing users to check notifications and quick features without opening the device.
TENAA has not revealed the exact chipset, but the phone will use an octa-core processor running at 2.75GHz. Multiple memory options are expected, with up to 18GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.
The camera setup is also upgraded. The Razr 70 will have a dual 50MP rear camera system, with the second sensor likely serving as a telephoto lens. The phone will support 3x optical zoom, while a 32MP selfie camera will be placed inside the main flexible display.
For everyday use, the device is expected to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dual-battery system with a total capacity of around 4,500mAh.
In terms of design, the Razr 70 measures 7.2mm in thickness and weighs 188 grams, keeping it slim and lightweight.
Motorola may officially launch the Razr 70 and Razr 70 Ultra next month, following the same schedule as the Razr 60 lineup, which debuted last April. This suggests the new foldable phones could arrive very soon.
