Huawei Mate 90 Pro Max may get major camera upgrades

Huawei is expected to launch its new Mate 90 series in China this October. Even before the official launch, leaks have started to reveal some important details about the upcoming phones.

The biggest focus is on the top model, the Mate 90 Pro Max. According to reports, this phone may come with a dual telephoto camera setup. One of these cameras could support up to 10x optical zoom, which would be a major upgrade.

For comparison, the previous Mate 80 Pro Max had dual 50MP periscope telephoto cameras with 4x and 6.2x optical zoom. So, the new 10x zoom feature would offer much better long-distance photography.

Leaks also suggest that Huawei is testing a large 1-inch sensor for the main camera. This could improve photo quality, especially in low light, and make images sharper and clearer. Because of this, the camera is expected to be one of the main highlights of the Mate 90 series.

On the design side, the Mate 90 Pro Max may come with a flat display instead of a curved one. Many users prefer flat screens because they are easier to use and reduce accidental touches.

The Mate 80 Pro Max was launched in November last year with strong camera features. Huawei is now likely to improve those features even more in the new series.
