Vivo X500 camera details leaked before launch
The Vivo X500 series is expected to launch in China later this year, with reports suggesting a release around September. The lineup may include the Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max.
A new leak has shared details about the rear cameras of the standard Vivo X500. According to the report, Vivo is planning a big camera change for the upcoming phone.
The Vivo X500 is expected to replace the 200MP main camera used in the Vivo X300 with a 50MP Sony sensor. The new sensor is said to be larger, measuring 1/1.28 inches, which could help improve image quality.
The phone is also rumored to feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera. In addition, it may include a 64MP periscope telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length and a 1/2.0-inch sensor for better zoom performance.
Previous leaks suggest the Vivo X500 will have a 6.37-inch display and a large 7,500mAh battery. It is also expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500-series chipset.
Reports also claim Vivo is working on more phones in the X500 series. The company may introduce the Vivo X500e, while the flagship Vivo X500 Ultra could launch alongside the X500e early next year.
Vivo has not officially confirmed any of these details. For now, all the information is based on leaks, and more official information is expected closer to the launch.
