Tesla recalls all vehicles due to Autopilot system failure

15 December, 2023 23:08

Detroit(web desk) :The famous electric car maker Tesla has recalled more than 2 million vehicles due to defects in the Autopilot system, which could pose a danger to people.
According to a foreign news agency, Tesla says the Autopilot software system controls may not be sufficient to prevent driver abuse.
The decision to recall the vehicles after the company was found guilty is a major decision of its kind, which Tesla says will introduce new safety measures and address existing defects.
Ann Carlson, Acting Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, told the US House of Representatives on Wednesday that she is pleased that Tesla has agreed to recall the vehicles.
We first began investigating Tesla’s Autopilot function in August 2021, when several accidents occurred when Autopilot was turned on, Ann Carlson said.
“One thing we’ve determined is that drivers don’t always pay attention when that system is on,” he said.
