8 Indian Jets Were Down by Pakistan Airforce in Marka e Haq says Deputy Chief of Air Staff Projects Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi

Pakistan’s Air Force leadership said that eight Indian aircraft were shot down during the Marka-e-Haq Operation, according to Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi Deputy Chief of Air Staff Projects. He made the valueable remarks during a press briefing in Rawalpindi alongside the DG ISPR, marking one year since the operation. The statement highlighted Pakistan’s claimed air combat achievements during the conflict, where 0 (zero) Pakistani jet was even harmed.
Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi briefly presented that the downed Indian aircraft included Rafale, Su-30, MiG-29, and Mirage 2000 jets. He also claimed that an expensive multi-role unmanned aerial system was destroyed during the operation. He said Pakistan’s performance in the air domain resulted in what he described as an “8–0” outcome, which shows the capacity of Pakistans Military and Pakistan Air Force to defend the Homeland from any insurgency by the enemies.
Air Vice Marshal Tariq Ghazi also added that the operational combat technique and strategy of Pakistan Air Force is commendable, PAF was keeping a track of the enemy’s movement, He added the Pakistani Pilots operated without fear and exhibited strong combat skills to defend Pakistan.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also addressed the briefing and said Pakistan defeated a huge adversary in a multi-domain conflict. He added that what the world reported represented only a fraction of Pakistan’s overall military capability and skills. He further added both Pakistani and Indian audiences were aware of the outcome, even if not officially acknowledged by all sides, the International observers were clear on the matter.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also added that India always spread misleading narratives and reiterated previous allegations regarding actions in Kashmir and Manipur. The ISPR chief said Pakistan had raised questions about past incidents that remain unanswered. He urged India to provide clarity on its claims regarding cross-border activity and investigations.
