Field Marshal Asim Munir, Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Offer Condolences in Tehran

Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal Asim Munir, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended condolence ceremonies in Tehran following the Martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. The Pakistani delegation joined senior Iranian officials and foreign dignitaries in paying their respects during the official mourning events.
According to Pakistan’s Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed condolences on behalf of the people and the Government of Pakistan to the Iranian leadership and the bereaved family. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Iranian people during the period of national mourning. Field Marshal Asim Munir participated in the farewell ceremonies alongside the prime minister as part of the official delegation.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who accompanied the Pakistani delegation to Tehran, also attended the condolence ceremony with other senior political leaders. The visit underscored Pakistan’s participation in the official funeral events and its expression of sympathy to the leadership and people of Iran following the death of the country’s Supreme Leader.
