He adopted the stance in the annual report on Children and Armed Conflict.

Special Representative on the subject, Virginia Gamba launched the report.

He expressed his concern over detention and torture of aforesaid children.

Moreover, he urged the Indian government to stop all forms of ill-treatment with children in prisons.

Besides, he called upon India to enforce the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.

According to the UN report, a total of 39 children were killed and wounded by pellet guns and several casualties in other actions, including 13 in crossfire and shelling across the line of control.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has been raising the issue of violation of human rights in IOJK.

Unfortunately, India has been violating international law in the disputed territory.

First, it revoked special status of disputed Kashmir area and intensified its siege.

Moreover, India keeps killing innocent Kashmiri youth in fake encounters.

Modi government has put eminent Kashmiri leaders behind the bars because they were leading protest.

They demand inalienable rights for the Kashmiris which India has usurped.
