Met office issues rain alert for Karachi, Sindh

Part of Sindh including Karachi and Hyderabad are expected to receive rainfall of varying intensities in coming 48 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting most parts of Pakistan. It is likely to prevail during the next 24 hours, read the alert.
Under these conditions, light rain/drizzle is likely in Karachi, Hyderabad and coastal areas of Sindh on Sunday evening/night.
On Monday and Tuesday, mainly cold and dry weather is expected across Sindh.
Karachi’s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 16-18 degrees Celsius on Monday and 13-15 C on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, cloudy weather with rains occurred in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh in coming 48 hours.
