PMD warns of intense heat in Karachi

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that the weather in Karachi will remain hot and humid today as well.

According to the weather department, the heat intensity is expected to feel between 43 and 46 degrees Celsius due to high humidity levels. The maximum temperature in the city may reach 38 degrees Celsius.

The current temperature in Karachi is 30 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level in the air is currently 74 percent.

The department also said that winds are blowing from the west at a speed of 30 kilometres per hour.
