UK’s royal Windsor Castle hosts first ever Iftar in 1000-year

History has been created in Britain with the Iftar party organized at Windsor Castle, the royal residence of British King Charles.
For the first time in the 1,000-year history of Windsor Castle, an Iftar was held.
More than 350 people from the Muslim and local communities attended the Iftar ceremony at St George’s Hall.
At the time of Iftar, dates were offered to the fasting people and special prayers were offered, after which food was also given.
The purpose of Iftar was to make non-Muslims aware about Islam and Ramazan.
The organizers said King Charles was a champion of efforts for interfaith harmony.
Earlier on Tuesday, an Iftar dinner was organized at the House of Commons, which was attended by British Prime Minister for the first time in history.
On this occasion, the importance of Ramazan was highlighted after the recitation from the Holy Quran.
